The Project
When building works were about to start at a home in Heaton, a mature maple tree stood right in the way. With the start date fast approaching, the client needed the tree removed quickly and reliably, so they turned to The Tree Fella to get the job done before work on site began.
The Challenge
Time was tight. The client’s building contractors were due on site imminently, and the maple had to come down before they could start, leaving little room for delay at any stage of the process. Our tree surgeons in Newcastle also had to work carefully close to the property’s conservatory, keeping the glazing protected throughout the removal.
Our Approach
We moved quickly from first contact to completion. A phone call confirmed the details and specification of the job, and photos sent by email let us assess the tree before a quote landed in the client’s inbox within an hour of their enquiry. Once approved online, the work was carried out within the same week, using chainsaws, a woodchipper, and a stump grinder to fell, clear, and process the tree on site. Glass windows and the conservatory glazing were protected throughout, and rather than grind out the stump there and then, we treated it with Ecoplugs, so the client could have it removed at a time that suited them without holding up their building works.
The Result
The maple was removed safely and on schedule, with the client’s building works able to start without a day’s delay.
At The Tree Fella, professionalism, reliability, and safety are at the heart of everything we do. This project is a testament to our dedication, hard work, and commitment to our clients.
The outcome for the Client
